25 Years of Leadership. One Powerful Convergence.

For 25 years, Black Elected Officials of California, formerly Black Elected Officials of the East Bay (BEO) has stood at the center of policy change and community advocacy, a legacy that began with a simple breakfast meeting in Oakland and grew into a statewide force for Black political leadership.

Kicking off the weekend's events, we will have an opening reception on November 12th for folks to join in on the kickoff celebration, check in to receive their conference badges and breakfast tickets, and fellowship and network with one another.

This November, we're marking that milestone with two signature events in Oakland, California:

The Convergence: Power in Motion Conference

Three days bringing together elected officials, civic leaders, organizers, and community members from across California for connection, learning, and celebration of what 25 years of leadership has built.

A morning of reflection, recognition, and renewed commitment, honoring the people who built this legacy and aligning on the work still ahead.
