Power in Motion Conference

The Black Elected Officials of California, formerly Black Elected Officials of the East Bay (BEO), began 25 years ago over breakfast at Geoffrey's Inner Circle.  Through the expansion of the organization and partnering with local Faith-Based Leaders in the East Bay, the organization has expanded to include all elected and appointed leaders throughout the state, community partners, and allies that are serious about the upliftment, support, advocation, and empowerment of Black leaders and the communities that are significantly underrepresented and underserved.
With the goal of improving the quality of life for the community of the East Bay and Bay areas, BEO has continued to thrive through challenging times and is progressing forward into the future to ensure that ALL Californians have strong representation across all levels of government.
