[Oakland, CA] – A powerful celebration is on the horizon as the inaugural Black Excellence in Government Leadership & Legacy Luncheon is set to honor the achievements, resilience, and historic impact of Black leaders who have shaped and continue to redefine government leadership.

This momentous event will take place on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Scott’s Seafood Grill & Bar in Jack London Square, bringing together trailblazers, public servants, policy influencers, and community leaders for an inspiring afternoon of recognition, connection, and purpose.

Hosted by the dynamic, Valerie Coleman Morris, author and former CNN Business Anchor,  the luncheon promises to be a vibrant showcase of Black excellence, highlighting individuals whose leadership has broken barriers, driven change, and uplifted communities across generations.
